Our Story

It started with a black dog named Sophie.

Sweetum

Why I built this

I am George. Sophie is my dog. Her ears stand straight up, and she has a white patch on her chest that she is not humble about. She sat for the first portrait I ever made here, and she has sat for most of them since.

I work a desk job. The best days are the ones I get to work from home, because that means a whole day with Sophie underfoot.

So Sweetum does one thing and tries to do it well. Your animal, your photo, a portrait that looks like them. A custom print, made to order.

Every portrait is built from your own photo and checked by a person before it reaches you, and nothing prints until you approve the proof. How it works walks through the whole process.

If you have a photo of an animal you love, that is all we need to start.
