Questions

How many pets can I have in one portrait, and what animals do you do?

Up to four on one piece. Send one photo per pet. They never need to have been photographed together, and we render each animal separately so one bad photo can't spoil the others. Dogs and cats are what we do best; rabbits, birds, horses and small animals are welcome and we'll tell you honestly before we take your money if a photo won't carry.

What size should I get?

The smallest sits on a shelf or a desk. The middle of the range is what most people hang alone on a wall. The largest are a statement above a sofa or a bed. Every size carries its print resolution beside it as you choose, so you can see exactly how much detail the file holds at that scale before you pick.

What are the frames like?

A 1″ moulding in black, red oak or white, ready to hang, at the same price in every colour. Canvas comes stretched and ready to hang without a frame if you prefer the gallery look.

What are the signature backgrounds?

White, eggshell and grey are the neutrals. Blush, espresso, sage and limewash are the signature grounds. Choose the ground you want for your artwork; no paw mark is printed.

Is this made by a real artist?

Our artists design every style you see here. The light, the palette, the way a black coat has to be lit so the ears don't disappear. That work happens long before your photo arrives, and it is what you are choosing between. Your pet is then painted into that style using AI, compared against your photograph by an independent system that checks the ears, the muzzle and the markings, and sent to you as a proof. Nothing is printed until you approve it.

How long does it take, and what does shipping cost?

Standard is 7 to 10 business days and costs $9.99, free on orders over $89. Expedited is 4 to 6 business days for $14.99. Your piece goes to the press the moment you approve your proof instead of waiting for the next day's batch. Each proof we send gives you 48 hours; if we don't hear back in that time we print the style you chose so your order isn't left waiting, and we'll remind you first.

Will the collar and leash be in it?

No. Collars, harnesses, leashes and bandanas are removed. If something matters to you, a favourite scarf or a tag, say so in the notes and we'll keep it.

What happens to my photo?

It is used to make your portrait and nothing else. It is processed by the AI providers named in our privacy policy, kept while your order is produced and deleted 14 days after it ships. That window is only so we can reprint if your parcel arrives damaged. We never sell it and never use it in marketing unless you tick the box that asks. Ask us to delete it sooner and we will, same day.
